Immigration Litigation Informed by Federal Government Experience

Summit Point Law is led by Prabhjot Punnia, former counsel with the Department of Justice Canada.

Before founding Summit Point Law, Prabhjot represented the federal government in litigation involving decisions made by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), including proceedings before the Federal Court.

Today, she brings that experience to individuals challenging immigration decisions and navigating complex immigration matters.

Her experience on the government side of immigration litigation provides insight into how immigration decisions are assessed and defended. That perspective now informs Summit Point Law’s approach to judicial review, immigration refusals, stays of removal, and other complex immigration proceedings.
